Social and Ethical Compliance of our Vendors

Global Regency is committed to building a legal and ethical business base, and ensuring its suppliers and vendors, share the same set of values. We have comprehensive database of suppliers, audits, and standards of factories that we have visited and dealt with first hand. All records are maintained and reviewed regularly and Corrective action plans are actively monitored.

We strive to work with all our suppliers, by way of offering vendor’s free pre-assessments for social and ethical compliance, and then working with them to develop and improve. The result of this approach has proven successful as we have assisted in turning many vendors into better companies that comply with legal and ethics requirements.

It is our firm belief that punishing suppliers is not the answer, as most suppliers demonstrate a willingness to improve when they are show how and see someone is willing to reward them and work with them pro-actively on corrective actions plans and future improvements. Change for these vendors requires support and understanding and commitment.

Standards and Quality of our vendors

We work rigorously with our customers, engineers, compliance team and laboratories to continuously improve product quality and ensure safety and regulatory standards are adhered to. We also conduct technical capability audits of our suppliers, to ensure their technical and capacity capabilities can meet our quality plans and criteria.

Violations that would lead us to Terminate work with Vendors include:

  1. Repeated violations of agreed corrective action plans.
  2. Un-lawful behaviour relating to Health and Safety
  3. Bribery and Corruption.

If anyone is aware of incidents that might violate the above, they can be reported anonymously.
